BREAK & ENTER
Last night around 10:30 city police responded to a break and enter in progress at the Staples Business Depot at 345 Great Northern Road.

Officers found 2 men fleeing the scene and a foot pursuit started. Both males were taken into custody shortly after the officer’s arrival.

It is alleged that the 2 males used a hammer and a cordless circular saw to cut into the side of a transport trailer docked at the receiving doors. Once they cut the hole in the trailer they attempted to enter the store without success.

Police located the circular saw in the bush area and learned that it had been reported stolen from a break and enter from the 6th of September at Gullevin International on White Oak Drive.

Both David Doslea, age 35, of 138 Elmwood Avenue and Gray Latvanen, age 31 of 7-171B Willow Avenue have been charged with one count of break and enter with intent, one count of possession of housebreaking tools and one count of possession of property obtained by crime each.

In addition to these charges, Mr. Latvanen faces an addition charged of resisting arrest as he continued to fight and struggle with the officers while they were arresting him.

Mr. Doslea will appear in court on November 29 and Mr. Latvanen will appear in bail court this morning.
