MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT Early this morning, at 2:45, Stephen Humes, age 19 of 96 Smale Ave.
MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT
Early this morning, at 2:45, Stephen Humes, age 19 of 96 Smale Ave. went to at the City Police Station to turn himself in regards to an incident that happened last Friday when, at 11:30 pm, Humes struck an 18-year-old male with a beer bottle.

The victim was seated in his car that was parked in a driveway off Peoples Rd. at the time of the incident. As Humes attempted to strike the victim with the bottle, the victim partially deflected the blow with his arm.

The bottle struck the victims arm, then cracked the inside of the windshield and the rearview mirror. Humes has been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Mischief under $5,000.00. He will appear in bail court today.
