Break and Enter Reports: Apartment residents on Cambridge Place called police when they discovered two male youths breaking into their apartment on the 15th of November around 8:51 pm. The males fled on foot with a Canon camera and an iPod Touch.

Apartment residents on Cambridge Place called police when they discovered two male youths breaking into their apartment on the 15th of November around 8:51 pm. The males fled on foot with a Canon camera and an iPod Touch. Officers searched the area but could not locate the suspects at the time.
A residence in the 200 block of Goulais Avenue was entered over the weekend. A Play station 3, games and a controller was reported stolen.
A residence on London Street was entered in the afternoon on the 15th of November. It is not known at this time what was stolen.
A residence on South Gladstone Avenue was entered sometime after midnight. A Laptop was reported stolen.
A residence in the 200 block of Macdonald Avenue was entered. Nothing was reported taken.
A residence on Manitou Drive was entered on the 13th of November between 2 and 4 pm. A Laptop and a Play station 3 were reported stolen.

Mischief Reports:

A vehicle parked on Andrew Street was entered after a window smashed. Approximately $3,000 worth of Snap-on tools were reported stolen.
The bus shelter window on Willow Avenue was smashed on the 14th of November.
A rock was thrown through a front window of a residence on Weldon Avenue.
A window was smashed at the Smack Daddy’s Bar and Grill.

Break and Enter Arrests for Bail Court Appearance This Morning:

29 year-old James Purcell of no fixed address was arrested on the 13th of November at 12:17 pm at a downtown location and charged with one count of break, enter and commit, one count of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 6th of November around 9:30 pm the accused broke into a residence in the 100 block of Wellington Street West and stole a large screen Toshiba TV, a Play station 3, and 2 guitars for Guitar Hero.  Officers investigating the incident located the stolen property later that evening at a centrally located residence that the accused brought the property to. It is further alleged that the accused was making attempts to sell some of the stolen items. At the time of the incident he was on probation with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

Four males were arrested on the 14th of November on Wilding Avenue after they allegedly broke into a residence in the 200 block of Wallace Terrace and stole a computer and keyboard. Police received a break and enter in progress call to the residence at around 4:30 pm. Officers learned that just prior to their arrival, four males that were involved had fled the residence in a Ford Explorer. Officers quickly located the truck, the accused males and the stolen property on Wilding Avenue. One of the males was also found in possession of a stolen restricted handgun.
The four males arrested were charged with the following:
1)25 year-old Michael Bjornaa of #2-169 Huron Street was charged with one count of break with intent and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.
2)26 year-old Blake Hudson of 674 Albert Street West charged with one count of break with intent and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.
3)23 year-old Justin Whalen of 47 Smale Avenue charged with one count of break with intent, one count of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of breach of probation.
4)31 year-old Darcy Lebel of 16 Breton Road was charged with one count of break with intent, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, one count of theft under $5,000.00, one count of unauthorized possession of a firearm and one count of careless use or storage of a firearm.

Four Males Arrested for Domestic Related Incidents for Bail Court Appearance This Morning:

1)A 22 year-old male was arrested on the 14th of November at 2:35 am at and east end location and charge with one count of mischief, one count of breach of probation and five counts of breach of a release document. It is alleged that the accused attended at his ex-girlfriend’s residence on the 14th of November at 12:30 am, got into a verbal argument with her and smashed the door in when she refused him entry. At the time of the incident the accused was under the influence of alcohol and was on several release court conditions not to attend at the victim’s residence, not to drink any alcohol and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
2)A 40 year-old male was arrested on the 14th of November at 10:26 pm on Bruce Street on an outstanding domestic warrant and charged with one count of assault.
3)A 35 year-old male was arrested on the 14th of November at 7:40 pm at his residence and charged with three count of assault, three counts of threatened death or bodily harm and one count of assault with a weapon. It is alleged that from December 2008 until present the accused had assaulted and threatened his common law spouse on numerous occasions while at their residence. On some of the occasions the accused threatened to kill the victim. The victim received non-life threatening injuries as a result of some of the assaults.
4)A 38 year-old male was arrested on the 16th of November at 1:37 am at the police station and charged with one count of threatened death or bodily harm and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused contacted his ex-common law spouse on the 13th of November and threatened to kill her. At the time of the offence the accused was on probation to keep the peace and be good.

Two Impaired Drivers Arrested:

40 year-old Christopher Palmgren of 93 Finns Bay Road was arrested on the 15th of November at 2:24 am Pentagon Boulevard and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit. It is alleged that on the 15th of November around 2:23 am city police receive a call regarding an impaired driver that had just left a downtown bar. Officers observed the Chevrolet Silverado pickup travelling at a high rate of speed in the area of McNabb Street and almost strike a sign. The truck failed to stop at the red light at Black and McNabb. Officers were able to stop the truck on Pentagon Boulevard and at the time the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The accused is to appear in court on the 21st of December.

24 year-old Darcie Piche of Concol Devon-Lot#11 in Chapleau Ontario was arrested on the 15th of November at 1:30 am on Pim Street and charged with one count of consume over the legal limit. It is alleged that on the 15th of November at approximately 1:30 am the accused was stopped and checked during the R.I.D.E. Program check on Pim Street and at the time she was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The accused registered a fail on the roadside screening device. She is to appear in court on the 21st of December.
