WRONG USE OF A TELEPHONE On Saturday at approximately 12:00 pm 31 year-old Charles Chrétien was arrested and charged with criminal harassment.

On Saturday at approximately 12:00 pm 31 year-old Charles Chrétien was arrested and charged with criminal harassment. Chrétien will appear in bail court this morning after he allegedly phoned the complainant repeatedly and also would be around the home of the complainant. As a result of Chrétien actions the victim feared for her safety.

BREACH OF PROBATION

A young offender will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested and charged Saturday afternoon with breach of recognizance and breach of probation. The young person was on a recognizance to be in the family residence between 10 pm and 7 am but didn’t return home until 2 am and also it is alleged that the accused has not been attending school, breaching another condition of the recognizance. The probation order states that this young person was to be of good behavior and to keep the peace and therefore the accused’s actions accounted for a breach of probation charge.

SUSPICIOUS TOOLS

20 year-old Jordan Cote of 120 Church Street will appear in court on June 21 after being charged with possession of stolen property on Sunday morning at 4:42 am. Cote is alleged to have been walking at the rear of a building on Albert Street West and carrying a large bag of tools when checked by patrol officers who determined that the tools were stolen.

K9 UNIT CALLED OUT-GETS’EM

3 young offenders were arrested and charged with break and enter after a break-in to the Our Place Confectionary on Peoples Road. The 3 accused will appear in bail court this morning after they were alleged to have thrown a rock threw the front door of the store and then took a large quantity of cigarettes. Patrol officers with the assistance of the city’s canine unit located the 3 suspects hiding a short distance from the location of the incident. The 3 accused were arrested at 2:20 Sunday morning.

MORE YOUNG OFFENDER STUFF

A young offender will appear in court this morning following an incident that occurred in the west end of the city. The accused is alleged to have punched another youth in the face breaking the victims jaw following a dance at a west end church. The accused is further alleged to have jumped on the victim after the punch until a bystander broke up the scuffle. The incident occurred at 10:30 Friday night and resulted in the youth being charged with assault causing bodily harm.

STILL MORE

A young offender was arrested and charged yesterday morning at 11:30 after damaging the property of another person who resided in the same residence. The youth will appear in bail court this morning charged with mischief and breach of probation after spilling ink onto the property of the victim. The accused was also on a probation order to keep the peace and to be of good behavior.

AND MORE YET

At 6:05 pm on Sunday a young offender was located riding a bicycle in Manitou Park that had been reported stolen on the 12th of May. The young offender was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property and is scheduled to be in court on June 22nd.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS-NOT

25 year-old Kristan Anthony Yukich of 598 Wellington Street East will appear in court on June 21st after he was arrested and charged on Sunday afternoon at 5:05 pm. Yukich is alleged to have failed to notify the city police service of his change of address, a condition of his undertaking.
