A break in was reported to City Police today from a business in the 1000 block of Great Northern Rd. Entry was gained by breaking a window resulting in a 1000cc Honda generator being stolen sometime over the weekend.

A 15 year old male was arrested by City Police officers earlier today on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court on March 17th. Another court date has been set for May 5th.

33 year old Theresa Agawa of Bawahting-Miikun St. attended to the City Police station today to turn herself in on an outstanding warrant for assault. It is alleged Agawa became involved in an argument with another female known to her which escalated to the point where the accused threw a cup of coffee in the victims face. She will be appearing in Provincial court on May 4th.

On March 29 just before 1 a.m., a homeowner on Elizabeth Street reported that the side window of his vehicle had just been smashed. Two males were seen running from the area. One suspect was wearing a green sweater and the other a blue sweater.

A break and enter was reported on March 29 to a residence on Grosvenor Avenue. Prescription medication and cash were taken.

On March 30 police received a report of a theft of a small amount of money from a vehicle on Laurier Avenue.

On March 28 officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service attended at the Cambrian Mall for a call of an irate customer at the Bank of Montreal. An adult male was asked to leave the business which he did so. 

On March 28 officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service were out conducting RIDE checks. A total of 403 vehicles were checked with no impaired drivers.
