The following persons will appear in bail court this morning: 1) 23-year old Robert Day of 112 Railroad Avenue was arrested on the 25th of March and charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime, one count of theft over $ 5,000,
The following persons will appear in bail court this morning:

1) 23-year old Robert Day of 112 Railroad Avenue was arrested on the 25th of March and charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime, one count of theft over $ 5,000, one count of mischief and one count of breach of a probation order. It is alleged that on the 25th of March around 4:25 pm the accused attended on James Street and smashed both front windows of a Shaw Cable van, located a set of keys in the van and drove away. The accused abandoned the van a short time later outside a downtown business and officers located the accused inside the business. It is also alleged the accused had property on him belonging to the owner of the van. At the time the accused was on probation to keep the peace and be good.

2) A 26-year old male was arrested on the 25th of March and charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm, two counts of fail to appear court, two counts of breaching his release document and five counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused was located just after 2:00 pm in the residence of his girlfriend on Wellington Street East. The accused was on probation with conditions not to communicate with her or to be at her place of residence. The accused was also arrested on outstanding warrants.

3) A 12-year male was arrested on the 23rd of March and charged with one count of an assault, one count of threatening to cause death or bodily harm and one count of breach of a release document. It is alleged that the accused assaulted an adult male known to him by pushing him and threatening him with a knife. At the time the youth was on release document with conditions not to possess knives.

4) A 17-year old male was arrested on the 24th of March and charged with one count of assault and one count of breach of probation under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA). It is alleged that on the 11th of March the accused assaulted a male by kicking and punching him. The incident occurred on Wallace Terrace around 3:30 am. The accused was on probation at the time of the assault.

Two Cases of Threatening

1) 42-year old Justin Butorac was arrested on the 23rd of March and charged with one count of threatening to cause death or bodily harm. It is alleged that on the 19th of March the accused threatened a cab driver. The accused will appear in court on the 30th of April.

2) A 40-year old male was arrested on warrants on the 23rd of March around 4:30 pm after turning himself into the police. He was charged with two counts of threatening to cause death and bodily harm. It is alleged that on the 21st of March the accused threatened to kill his ex-wife and her boyfriend. The accused will appear in court on the 25th of April.

The following break and enters were reported over the weekend:

1) A residence on Glen Avenue was entered on the 23rd of March between 1 pm and 2:30 pm. Items taken included an X-box 360 with two games, a portable DVD player and some old Canadian currency.

2) A residence on Cathcart Street was entered on the 23rd of March between 11:00 am and 8:30 pm. Items taken were several cds and DVDs.

3) A residence on Base Line was entered on the 24th of March between 5 pm and 8 pm. Items taken included electronics, a lap top and some jewellery.

4) On the 25th of March at 1 pm a report was received of an attempt break and enter to Quiznos on Spring Street.
