The following persons are to appear in bail court this morning: 1) 19 year-old Daniel Lepage of #405-588 Albert Street East and a 17 year-old male youth were arrested on the 14th of March at 7 am on Wellington Street East.
The following persons are to appear in bail court this morning:

1) 19 year-old Daniel Lepage of #405-588 Albert Street East and a 17 year-old male youth were arrested on the 14th of March at 7 am on Wellington Street East.
Daniel Lepage is charged with one count of assault with a weapon, one count of possession of a weapon for purpose dangerous to public, one count of mischief under $5,000.00 and one count of breach of probation.
The 17 year-old youth was charged with one count of assault with a weapon, one count of mischief under $5,000.00 and one count of breach of probation under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
It is alleged that on the 14th of March around 6 am the two males broke off the front stair railings of a home on Wellington Street East and when the home owner confronted them, they swung the wooden railings in a threatening manner towards him. There were no injuries reported.

2) 19 year-old Gerald Bottle of 222 Albert Street East was arrested on the 15th of March at 11:56 pm on Gore Street and charged with one count of being intoxicated in a public place and five counts of breach of a release document. It is alleged that on the 15th of March at approximately 11:56 pm city police located the accused in an intoxicated condition walking on Gore Street and when they ran a check on him they discovered he was on two separate undertaking orders with conditions not to consume any alcohol and also the accused had moved and failed to notify the OPP of his change of address.

3) A 17 year-old male youth was arrested on the 15th of March at 3:30 pm on Trunk Road on outstanding warrants and charged with two counts of failing to appear for court on the 29th of January and the 26th of February.

4) A 40 year-old male was arrested on the 16th of March at 8:05 am at his west end residence and charged with one count of threaten death or bodily harm. It is alleged that on the 16th of March at approximately 4 am the accused got into a verbal argument with his wife at their residence. The accused threaten to kill his wife and her dog while he was waving a knife. There were no injuries reported.

5) Three female youths were arrested on the 16th of March at Sears in the Station Mall in relation to a shoplifting incident. A 15 year-old youth was charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00 and one count of breach of probation and a 17 year-old youth was charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00 and two counts of breach of probation and are both to appear in bail court this morning. The 16 year-old youth was charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00 and is to appear in court on the 18th of April. It is alleged that on the 16th of March at 2:40 pm the three females attended at Sears and stole some DVD’s and games. They were apprehended by store security and held for police. At the time of the incident all three were on probation with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behavior and the 17 year-old was on further conditions not to associate with one of the co-accused.

Outstanding Warrants & Driving While Disqualified

37 year-old Donald Cory of #317-138 East Street was arrested on the 15th of March at 1:26 pm at his residence on several outstanding warrants and charged with one count of fail to appear for court, one count of fail to appear for prints and two counts of drive while disqualified. It is further alleged that on the 15th of March at 11:45 am the accused called a male known to him on the phone and threatened to kill him. He was further charged with one count of threaten death or bodily harm. He is to appear in court on the 21st of April.

Arrested at Canada Customs

23 year-old Sheila Lefebvre of 34 Boston Avenue was arrested on several outstanding warrants on the 15th of March at 3:20 am at Canada Customs on Huron Street and charged with one count of assault with a weapon, one count of fail to appear court, two counts of breach of a release document, and one count of breach of probation. She is to appear in court on the 21st of April.

One Break & Enter

There was one break and enter reported over the weekend to a residence on Shannon Road that occurred some time between the 15th of March after 5 pm and the 16th of March at 6 pm. A stereo and some Nintendo games were reported stolen.

Three Vehicle Collision

On the 14th of March at 9:57 pm City police attended at a motor vehicle collision involving three vehicles at the intersection of John Street and St. Georges Avenue that sent a 57 year-old female driver to hospital by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries. It is alleged that an 82 year-old male was operating a Chev Tracker westbound on St. Georges Avenue when he failed to stop for the red light at John Street and struck a Mercedes that was travelling southbound on John Street. The Mercedes swerved across the lane after impact and struck a city dump truck that was travelling northbound on John Street. The 82 year-old male driver, Rocco Micaroni of 361 Henry Street, was charged with one count of red light – fail to stop under the Highway Traffic Act. The 57 year-old female driver of the Mercedes was the only driver injured.
