SOME BAD DUDES CAUGHT A 16 and a 17-year-old youth will appear in bail court today. Both youths have been charged with 8 counts of break and enter and 8 counts of breaching their release documents.
SOME BAD DUDES CAUGHT

A 16 and a 17-year-old youth will appear in bail court today. Both youths have been charged with 8 counts of break and enter and 8 counts of breaching their release documents. These youths are the 2 charged in the early morning hours of the 23rd of June with a break and enter to the Bellevue park canteen that occurred on the 22nd. Further investigation resulted in additional charges for a number of break and enters that stem from as early as April of this year to the current arrest on the 23rd.

The businesses broken into include Northshore Alarms and Telecommunications on Trunk Road, Clockwork Computers on Black Rd, Ball Florist on North St, an earlier break and enter to the Bellevue Park canteen, B&R Auto on Trunk Rd, Chunky Cheese on Great Northern Rd, and 2 break and enters to the Strathclair Fields concession stand. The 8 breaches all relate to the 2 accused being together when on a release document prohibiting them being together.

B&E CHARGES

Mark Martin, age 33, of 1-131 Pilgrim Street has been charged with 2 counts of break and enter, and one count of attempt break and enter. Mr. Martin was arrested on the 28th for incidents from June 7th. The break and enters occurred to Nutri-Lawn and Algoma Vending Machine; the attempt break and enter was to KC Roofing, all at the address of 60 Pim Street. He will appear in court on August 9th.

IMPAIRED DRIVING CHARGE

At approximately 9:30 pm last night, City Police had occasion to stop a vehicle on St. Georges Ave East. The driver of the vehicle displayed signs of impairment, and was subsequently charged with impaired driving and consume over the legal limit. It was also learned the driver was a disqualified driver for impaired driving and was additionally charged with operating a motor vehicle while disqualified-court order. Jason Andrew Alexander, age 29, of 159 Wellington St E will appear in court on August 9th.

ANY WHICH WAY BUT LOOSE

On the 26th of June at approximately 8:30 pm, a male entered the residence of his ex-girlfriend and threatened to cut her while holding a knife. The accused then left the east end residence and returned to his residence where he got into an altercation with his landlord. The accused became upset and jumped onto the car of the landlord and ran up and down the hood causing dents and scratches. The male was also on a probation order at the time to keep the peace and be good.

The 37 year old male will appear in bail court today after being charged with one count of assault with a weapon, one count of threatening death or bodily harm, one count of mischief under $5,000, one count of unlawfully being in a dwelling house, and 2 counts of breach of probation.

DOMESTIC STUFF

A 31-year-old male will appear in bail court after City Police responded to domestic call in the city’s central area on the 26th of June. It is alleged the accused, between June 24th and June 25th, did assault and threaten his wife by kicking and punching her with a plastic pipe and then threatened to kill her if she said anything. The male was charged with 2 counts of assault with a weapon, 2 counts of assault and one count of threatening death or bodily harm.

MORE DOMESTIC STUFF

A 27-year-old male will appear in bail court today on domestic related charges. It is alleged that on the 27th of June around 10 pm, the accused assaulted his common-law wife by throwing her to the ground, stomping on her, and pushing her around. The victim fled the residence and called police. The male was already on release documents not to molest, harass or annoy the victim. The male was charged with one count of assault and one count of breaching his release document.

AND THERE’S MORE

A 27-year-old male will appear in bail court after it is alleged he assaulted his common law girlfriend in the early morning hours of Saturday in their west end residence. The couple became involved in a verbal argument and the male then pushed her to the floor, where he grabbed her by the neck and banged her head against the floor. The female fled the living room area and tried to hide in the bathroom but the accused followed her, broke the door and used a piece of the door to hit the victim in the face.

Upon arrival police had to force their way into the apartment as they heard the female yelling for help. The accused was getting off of the victim and was trying to hide under a blanket when officers entered the residence. The male was charged with one count of assault. Upon arrest it was also learned that the accused had an outstanding arrest warrant for one count of failing to appear in court and one count of drive while disqualified, with which he was additionally charged
