On June 15, 2014, city police responded to a domestic matter in the west end of the city. Police investigated a complaint of criminal harassment involving a 57-year-old accused male.

On June 15, 2014, city police responded to a domestic matter in the west end of the city. Police investigated a complaint of criminal harassment involving a 57-year-old accused male. It is alleged that the accused followed and watched the victim’s place of residence between May 1, 2014 and June 15, 2014 on different occasions. The accused is on probation and a recognizance with court order conditions. The accused was arrested and charged with criminal harassment, breach of probation and breach of a recognizance and will appear in bail court on June 16, 2014 at 10 a.m.

On June 15, 2014 police responded to a family violence call involving an accused young person, age 17. It is alleged that the accused assaulted his mother by pushing her. The accused will appear in court on July 15, 2014 at 9:30 a.m.

There was a break and enter to a residence in the 300 block of Douglas Street. It is unknown at this time if anything was taken.

There was a break and enter to a residence in the 20 block of Wellington Street East. Clothing was taken from the residence.

BEAR SIGHTING:
There was a bear seen in the Manitou Drive/Corey Avenue area at approximately 8:40 p.m.
