On July 8th, 2013 shortly after 1:00 pm City Police Officers were called to Walmart for two males that had been apprehended by security for shoplifting. Officers learned that Jared Landry, age 19 and Thomas Archibald, age 22, both of 588 Albert St. W. Apt 408 had allegedly stole sunglasses and pop from the store. The two males were charged with Theft under $5,000.00 and will attend court on August 12th.

49 year old Theresa Bob of 212 Albert St East was arrested by Patrol officers at 9:30 Sunday evening. A female complainant advised the officers that she was assaulted by Ms. Bob by having clumps of her hair torn from her scalp. Ms Bob will appear in court on August the 12th, 2013.

A series of break and enters were reported which occurred between 6:30pm and 10:30pm last night. In the 500 block of Parliament Street a house had the side door kicked in and jewellery was reported taken. Then a residence in the 100 block of Chestnut Street had the rear door kicked in and jewellery was also reported stolen from that house. An attempt break in was reported in the 600 block of Shafer Avenue but entry was not gained. And then lastly a break in was reported in the 200 block of John Street where a door was kicked in, but at this time there is nothing reported taken from that residence.
