The Sault Police Service was kept busy over the weekend with over 280 calls, most of a minor nature. There were 12 bear sightings reported.

BREAK & ENTER WITH THREATS
On Saturday at about 12:30 p.m., three males forcibly entered a residence in the 400 block of Northland Road. It is alleged that one of the intruders punched the victim in the face before entering the home. Once inside, the suspects made threats and then stole some electronic equipment before leaving. Two of the suspects are known to the victim.

At about 2:45 p.m. that same day, police arrested the three males including two young offenders and one adult. The adult, Dustin Middaugh, age 20, of 260 Wellington West, Apt #2, was charged with forcible entry. He will appear in bail court on August 10.

One of the young offenders will appear in bail court at 1:30 p.m. today. He is charged with forcible entry, threatening and robbery. The second young offender, charged with forcible entry, will appear in court on July 30.
