On July 5, 2015 at 9:30 p.m., city police arrested and charged a 36-year-old female with assault with a weapon and assault in regard to a domestic investigation. It is alleged that on July 5, 2015, the accused assaulted her common-law partner by striking him in the face with a fold-up lawn chair. Further, it is alleged that a short time later the accused grabbed him around the neck with her hands. She will be appearing in court on August 5, 2015.
On July 5, 2015 at 7:45 p.m., city police arrested and charged Guy Dinel, 53 years, of Fourth Line West with assault and mischief under $5,000. It is alleged that the accused attended at the residence of a male known to him and grabbed him by the throat and punched him in the jaw. It is further alleged that the accused broke a window at the same residence. He will be appearing in court on August 10, 2015.
