POLICE NEED YOUR HELP
Officers from the Traffic Services Section of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are asking for the public's assistance into a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Thursday, July 24th at 4:14 pm at the intersection of Korah Road and Henry Street.

YOUTH ARRESTED ON NUMEROUS CHARGES
On July 26th at 7:30 pm, patrol officers were called to a residence where a 16-year-old male was causing a disturbance.
Police learned that on the 24th and 25th of July, the young person breached his probation by breaching his curfew of 10pm-7am. Further on the 26th of July at approximately 7:00 pm, the accused breached his probation by drinking liquor, not keeping the peace and being of good behaviour, along with associating with a person he was not allowed to be with.
The accused also assaulted two persons at the residence who were known to him by pulling one's hair and by pushing one into the other.
Patrol officers arrested the accused at approximately 7:33 pm for Breach of Probation and Assault. During the arrest the youth was physically resistant struggling with the police officers. No serious injuries were reported in the incident.
The youth has been charged with two counts of Assault, five counts of Breach of Probation and one count of Resisting Arrest. He will appear in bail court today.
IMPAIRED CHARGE
Early today at 1:46 am, patrol officers responded to the area at Pim and Bay Street where a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix had struck the guide rails.
Officers located the car and the alleged driver in a parking lot at Queen and Pim Streets. Shortly before 2:00 am, patrol officers arrested and charged the accused, David Vilaca, age 20 of 121 Moluch Street, with impaired driving.
The car was demolished in the collision. He will appear in court on September 8th.
BREAK & ENTER
On July 27th shortly after 9:00 am, a homeowner on St. Georges Avenue West called and advised police that thieves had entered his garage and removed an IT 175cc Yamaha Dirt Bike. The stolen motorcycle is blue in colour and missing a front headlight.
On July 27th at 12:03 pm, police were called to the East End Husky on Trunk Rd. where thieves had broken in sometime overnight and stolen a small amount of cash and other office related items from the business.
