Yesterday at 4:39 p.m., a female broke into a residence on Peach Street by climbing in a bathroom window where the owner, who was home at the time, surprised her. She then fled the scene but was arrested by patrol officers a short time later in the neighbourhood. Anne Yassine, age 37, of 115 Albert Street West was arrested and charged with break and enter with intent. She will appear in court on August 26.

VAN IN TWO COLLISIONS
Last evening at 9:43, patrol officers were dispatched to a vehicle collision on Douglas Street. A 1986 Dodge truck that was parked on the street had been struck by another vehicle that had left the scene. The truck received severe damage to the rear end. Officers subsequently located a second collision scene on Douglas at Turner Avenue where a 1991 Plymouth Voyager van had struck a fire hydrant adjacent to the intersection. Officers arrested the driver, Corey Osmund, age 29, of 151 Turner Avenue and charged him with impaired driving. The van received mode
