MISSING TEENAGER LOCATED A 19-year-old female who was reported missing has been found by the Sault Police Service. Patricia Cormier was located downtown at about 2:00p.m. today in good health. She was returned home.

FATAL ACCIDENT
Your City Police Service is investigating a fatal accident that occurred in an underground parking garage at 138 Kohler Friday at about 4:00 p.m. A 69-year-old woman was taken to hospital following the accident where she succumbed to her injuries.

Mrs. Henriette Lizee-Mohamed, wife of Dr. John Mohamed, was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle.

Police are still investigating.


TEEN ARRESTED AT BUS TERMINAL
Yesterday at approximately 3:00 am, patrol officers were called to the transit terminal on the corner of Dennis and Queen Streets for a gathering of individuals and a possible fight in progress. Officers checked one Cory Scott, age 19 of 144 Central Park Avenue.

The check showed Scott was wanted by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court. Officers arrested Scott and brought him to the station for processing. He will appear in Bail Court today.


YOUNG FEMALE CHARGED FOR SWEARING
Yesterday at 4:00 pm, a 14-year-old female caused a disturbance by using obscene language on two separate occasions in the lobby of the police station. She called a patrol officer obscene names.

Present were three police officers, two cleaning staff and one auxiliary officer. The female had come into contact with police when she failed to comply with her probation order by staying out past her curfew. She has been charged with Breach of Probation and Causing a Disturbance by Swearing. She will appear in youth court in mid February.


MAN UNLAWFULLY AT LARGE
On the January 3 at approximately 8:00 pm, Charles Turner, age 27 of 212 Broadway Avenue, Wawa, became unlawfully at large when he did not return to the Northern Treatment Centre to serve his weekend sentence.

Police requested a warrant for his arrest. At 2:20 pm yesterday, Turner was found hiding in a bedroom closet at a home on Shafer St. He was arrested and charged with Unlawfully Being at Large. He will appear in Bail Court today.


FIVE ACCIDENTS INVESTIGATED
The Sault Ste. Marie Police investigated 5 motor vehicle collisions since yesterday morning would like to remind the public to use extra care when driving.
