Sometime overnight an unknown culprit broke into a residence on Albert Street East. Damage was done to a door frame and nothing was taken. On January 10, 2016 at 9:55 p.m.

Sometime overnight an unknown culprit broke into a residence on Albert Street East. Damage was done to a door frame and nothing was taken. 

On January 10, 2016 at 9:55 p.m. city police arrested 30-year-old Ashley Maclean of Queen Street East on numerous outstanding arrest warrants. She’s been charged with two counts of fail to appear, three counts of breach of undertaking, fraud and assault. She will be appearing in court on January 11, 2016 at 10 a.m.

On January 11, 2016 at 1:50 a.m. 22-year-old Erin Case of Hugill Street was arrested by city police. Officers were called to the scene of a single motor vehicle accident on Macdonald at Gladstone. The driver was found to have been drinking and was given a roadside breath test that she failed. She has been charged with one count of Operation with over 80 mgs of alcohol and will be appearing in court on February 22, 2016. Damage to the vehicle was extensive and some damage to a PUC pole was reported. Only minor injuries were reported to a passenger in the vehicle.
