MOSTLY DOMESTIC STUFF
A domestic dispute from July of 2003 and another incident yesterday morning has a 48 year-old man appearing in bail court this morning. The man is accused of beating up a woman and breaking her ribs in July of last year and is also charged with attempting to break in to the woman’s apartment early yesterday morning.

A 26 year-old male appeared in bail court Sunday morning after a domestic dispute on Saturday night. The man is alleged to have struck the woman in the head and face. The accused was arrested at approximately 9:30 pm Saturday night. He was charged with aggravated assault.

A 39 year-old man was arrested on Saturday afternoon following a domestic dispute that resulted in 3 charges of assault. The incidents are reported to have occurred over the past week. The man is alleged to have pushed and slapped the woman on 3 different occasions. The man was to appear in bail court on Sunday morning.

A domestic dispute in the city’s west end lead to a 47 year –old man being charged with assault with a weapon. On Friday evening just before midnight the man is alleged to have struck a woman with a beer can cutting her forehead. The man was arrested a short time later and is scheduled to appear in court on March 8th

YOUNG OFFENDER CHARGED
A 17 year-old young offender was charged with possession of stolen property and breach of probation on Friday afternoon. The young person was found with electronic equipment and DVD’s that were reported stolen from a residence on James Street. A court date of March 9th has been set.
