TASER USED ON VIOLENT MALE
On Saturday, December 7, at approximately 8:00 pm, Branden Gignac, age 21 of 101 Hudson Street allegedly assaulted an 8 year old male by grabbing him by the neck, a 43 year old female, by punching her in the head and a 17 year old female by biting her hand and punching her in the face. Gignac knew all the victims. The victims received minor injuries. The incident took place in a vehicle on Gore Street adjacent to Wendy's Restaurant, and out onto the street area.

Emergency Service Unit Officers arrived on the scene and observed the incident in progress. At approximately 8:07 pm the accused, on observing the police, started to flee toward the Federal Building at 22 Bay Street. Police advised the accused to stop and he did not comply. The taser was deployed and the accused stopped running.

As officers approached the accused and advised him he was under arrest, the accused punched one of the officers on the right side of the face. The accused was tased again, fell to the gro
