On December 27, 2015 at 8:30 p.m., officers attended at the Sault Ste Marie Airport and arrested 35-year-old Matthew Damignani of Atwater Street. It is alleged that as the accused and his luggage were being screened by security when it was detected that the accused had a set of brass knuckles in his luggage. The accused was detained by security and police were contacted. The accused has been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and will appear in court on February 1.
