On August 30, 2015 police arrested 21-year-old Jody Burns of Queen Street East It is alleged that at 2:30 p.m. the accused attended at a downtown store and selected $278 worth of merchandise.

On August 30, 2015 police arrested 21-year-old Jody Burns of Queen Street East It is alleged that at 2:30 p.m. the accused attended at a downtown store and selected $278 worth of merchandise. The accused then left the store making no attempt to pay for the selected items. The accused has been charged with theft under $5,000 and breaching his probation order and will appear in court on October 5.

On August 30, 2015 at 7:45 p.m. police arrested 59-year-old Daniel Grenier of Montreal River. It is alleged that the accused became involved in an argument with a female. The matter became heated and the accused grabbed the female by the head and struck her head off a vehicle window. This caused the window to spider. The victim was transported to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. The accused has been charged with assault and mischief and will appear in court on October 5.

On August 30, 2015 at 7:30 p.m., police arrested 29-year-old Aaron Beaulieu of Farwell Terrace. It is alleged that the accused was operating his vehicle on Churchill Avenue and ran into the back of a parked car. The accused received minor injuries and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Investigation revealed that the accused had been consuming alcohol prior to operating the vehicle. A subsequent breath test revealed that the accused ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. The accused has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with excess of 80 milligram of alcohol in blood. The accused will appear in court on October 5.

On August 31, 2015 at 1 a.m., police were called to a west end home for a domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed that the 34-year-old female accused was arguing with her female partner. At one point the accused bit the victim on the arm and would not release. The accused was arrested and has been charged with assault. She will appear in bail court this morning.
