CHOCOHOLIC CHARGED 21-year-old Darryl Andrew Andreola of 24 St. Andrew’s Terrace was arrested and charged early Saturday morning with Theft under $5000.
CHOCOHOLIC CHARGED
21-year-old Darryl Andrew Andreola of 24 St. Andrew’s Terrace was arrested and charged early Saturday morning with Theft under $5000. Andreola is alleged to have taken 2 cartons of chocolate milk from a delivery truck that was parked at Crazy Ernie’s on McNabb Street. Officers located Andreola a short distance away from the store where he was drinking chocolate milk. Mr. Andreola is scheduled to appear in court on the 10th of May.


DOMESTIC DISTURBANCES
A domestic disturbance that began in the River Rock bar led to the arrest of a 26-year-old male. It is alleged that the couple was removed from the bar after they had a verbal disagreement. While outside, the male was observed kicking and punching the victim. The man is scheduled to appear in court on May 3rd charged with assault.

A domestic disturbance in the city’s east end resulted in both parties being arrested and charged. The offence that occurred on Saturday at approximately 6:00 pm alleges that both people involved struck one another. One person is accused of punching and the other is accused of slapping the other person involved. One of the accused will appear in court on April 26th and the other accused will appear in court on May 3rd.

A 48 year-old female was arrested and charged with Mischief, impaired driving and over 80 mg after a domestic incident Sunday evening. The accused is alleged to have driven her vehicle to the residence of the complainant and intentionally struck the complainants parked vehicle. When officers were called to the residence, they noted the condition of the accused and arrested her. The woman is scheduled to appear in court on May 10th.


CHARGED WITH MISCHIEF
A 33 year-old Blind River man was arrested and charged with Mischief under $5000 after an alleged domestic disturbance at a local restaurant. The man is reported to have damaged a vehicle in the parking lot of the restaurant by kicking and damaging the driver side door and the bug deflector. The incident took place while the accused waited outside for his fiancé. It is not known if the accused knew the owner of the vehicle involved. The accused male is scheduled to appear in court on April 26th.


IMPAIRED CHARGE
42 year-old Christopher Diotte of 571 Bush Street will appear in court on May 3rd after being arrested and charged with impaired driving and over 80 mg. Diotte was observed driving east on Albert Street at approximately 8:40 pm on Saturday evening by patrol officers. The officers observed the vehicle swerving from lane to lane on this one-way street. The vehicle was brought to a stop on East Street where Mr. Diotte was arrested.


MULTIPLE CHARGES
A 15 year-old young offender was arrested this weekend for an outstanding arrest warrant. A March 2nd incident in which the accused is charged with assault and breach of probation resulted in a warrant being requested. Officers attended at the accused’s residence at 12:50 this morning and arrested the young person. The young offender will appear in bail court this morning.


BREACH OF PROBATION
A 15 year-old male was arrested and charged this weekend with 2 counts of breach of probation. The accused was to abide by conditions of abstaining from the consumption of alcohol and to be in the residence by 10 pm. The accused is alleged to have arrived home at 1:35 am after having consumed alcohol. An April 27th court date has been set.


BOYS REPORTED MISSING
On Friday 14 year-old Michael Anthony Southwind was reported missing and had not been seen since about mid March. On the weekend he was located, however 13 year-old Kodey Ferrigan-Edwards still remains missing.
