ROBBERY CHARGES Early Saturday morning 21 year-old Christian Boissoneau of 54 Cathcart Street was apprehended for an alleged robbery that occurred at the Churchill Plaza Bowling Lanes on April 3rd.

Early Saturday morning 21 year-old Christian Boissoneau of 54 Cathcart Street was apprehended for an alleged robbery that occurred at the Churchill Plaza Bowling Lanes on April 3rd.

On that date Boissoneau is reported to have taken 2 bottles of liquor from the bar and when an employee attempted to stop him, Boissoneau took a punch at the bowling lane employee. Boissoneau then threw the bottles at the employee and a witness prior to leaving the building. Mr. Boissoneau is scheduled to appear in bail court this morning.

ASSAULT CHARGES

32 year-old Mark Stone of 337 Albert Street East was arrested early Saturday morning for assault. It is alleged that Mr. Stone attended at the residence of the victim who is known to him, and while Stone was there he punched the victim twice in the face. Mr. Stone is scheduled to appear in court on June 7th on the assault charge.

WEEKEND DOMESTIC DISPUTE

A 20 year-old man was arrested on the weekend following a domestic dispute. It is alleged that the man slapped the victim several times in the face before pushing the victim out of their apartment. At the time of the incident the accused was on an undertaking to notify city police of a change of address that he had not done. The accused male is scheduled to appear in bail court this morning.

THREATENING CHARGES

39 year-old Tammie Lynn Biron of 489 Cathcart Street was arrested and charged on the weekend after an incident at an apartment on Portage Lane. Biron is alleged to have attended at the apartment of the victim and while there threatened to kill the victim. Ms. Biron will appear in court on June 7th on the threatening to cause death charge.

SAULT MICH. MAN CHARGED

A 65 year-old Sault Michigan man was charged with assault and threatening bodily harm after a family dispute in our city’s east end Sunday evening. The man is alleged to have attended at the residence of the victim and while he was there he grabbed the victim by the arm and tried to pull the victim out of the house.

And while doing this the accused threatened to cause bodily harm to the victim. The man was arrested by city police officers at Canada Customs and is scheduled to appear in court on May 31st.

IMPAIRED DRIVING AND ASSAULT CHARGES
A domestic dispute that was taking place in a motor vehicle resulted in the driver being arrested for impaired driving and over 80 mg and assault. During the dispute the man is accused of biting the victim on the nose. The victim left the vehicle and the accused continued driving on Bruce Street and was stopped by officers on Algoma Avenue.

The 57 year-old man is scheduled to appear in bail court this morning. The victim was also apprehended a short time later and charged under the Liquor Licence Act for being intoxicated in a public place.

ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGES

Detectives from the Investigation Services Unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service continue to investigate an incident that has a young offender charged with Attempted murder. The offence is alleged to have occurred outside a west end coffee shop at approximately 2:30 am on Sunday April 18th.

The accused is alleged to have stabbed the victim with a knife. The extent of any injuries is not known at this time. The accused will appear in bail court this morning.
