2 persons were arrested at the court house today on outstanding warrants.
19 year old Alaina St. John of 59 Old Garden River Road was apprehended on a warrant for failing to reappear in court. She will appear in bail court tomorrow at 10:00 am.
44 Year old Alison Pine was arrested for a warrant for failing to appear for finger prints. She will appear in court on Monday May 27th at 9:00 am.

On April 9, 2013 Sault Ste. Marie Police received information that someone had stolen a set of license plates from a vehicle. On April 14, 2013 officers observed a Pontiac Grand Prix turn onto Carmen’s Way with the stolen plates on the vehicle. The vehicle was stopped and the driver of the vehicle was arrested. Subsequent to the arrest a small quantity of drugs were found in the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle Robert John Bouchard, age 28 of 132 Cathcart Street was arrested for possession of a controlled substance X 2 and possession of stolen property. The accused was also charged under the Provincial Offences Act for driving while under suspension. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on May 13, 2013 at 09:00 am. The passenger in the vehicle Shelby Coulter age 24, of 132 Cathcart Street was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance and is scheduled to appear in court on May 13, 2013 at 9:00 am.

On April 15, 2013 officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service had occasion to stop a vehicle on Northland Road. An occupant of that vehicle Jody Cloutier age 31 of 46 Minto Street, Chapleau, Ontario was found to be breaching his Recognizance of bail by failing to remain in his residence daily between the hours of 9:00 PM and 6:00AM. Cloutier was arrested and held for bail court April 15, 2013 at 1000hrs
