Man wanted on outstanding warrant found in possession of homemade sword

On April 29, 2020, officers with Patrol Services arrested 27-year-old Gerald Anglehart for breach of recognizance.

At 7:45 p.m. officers observed a vehicle parked on Albion Street with license plates that were not attached to that vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted and the accused was the driver. Police learned he was wanted on an outstanding warrant and was currently on conditions to be in his residence between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m.

He was arrested and a subsequent search found him to be in possession of homemade mace, bear spray, a homemade sword, break in tools and .01 grams of a substance believed to be cocaine.

He is charged with three counts of breach of recognizance, three counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of break in tools and possession of a controlled substance. He was held for bail court.
