A 76-year-old faces sexual assault charges after an incident that occurred earlier this year, Sault Ste. Marie police said in a news release issued today.
Police say on April 21, 2022, the accused touched an underage person for a sexual purpose and invited them to participate in sexual activity.
As a result, on June 25, Franklin Lima was arrested and charged with sexual assault and invitation to sexual touching
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on September 12, 2022.
