Male charged for domestic violence
On Apr. 29, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 53-year-old male in relation to a domestic violence incident.
It is alleged that just after 1 a.m. on Apr. 29, the accused engaged in a verbal argument with his girlfriend. The accused then (allegedly) assaulted the victim by grabbing her by the throat.
The accused was arrested and charged with one count of assault. He was held for WASH court.
