Man charged with breaking and entering with intent

Business on Queen Street East broken into, but nothing stolen, police say

Sault Ste. Marie Police have charged a man with breaking and entering with intent.

On April 1, officers attended a business in the 300 block of Queen Street East to investigate a break and enter.

Through the investigation, officers identified a suspect as the person who had entered the business.

Nothing was reported stolen from the business, police said in a news release.

On April 4, officers located and arrested the suspect.

David Dyni, 33, is charged with:

  • Breaking and Entering with Intent
  • Fail to Comply with Probation – Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour

Police said Dyni was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on May 29.
