A 29-year-old man who was picked up by police on outstanding warrants has been charged with multiple drug trafficking offences.
Sault Police say the man was carrying approximately 20 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 18 grams of suspected fentanyl and 14 grams of suspected cocaine worth a total of $11,000.
Michael Rivers was charged on Sept. 15 with three counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with a judicial release order.
He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and Rivers is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
