A 60-year-old faces dangerous operation charges after an incident that took place earlier this week, Sault Ste. Marie Police said in a news release issued today.

Police say they responded to a call at around 5:45 p.m. yesterday of a dispute at a business in the 200 block of Bruce Street.

When police arrived, a vehicle leaving the business allegedly almost hit the cruiser, and sped away from the area, nearly hitting an officer, the release states.

Police later conducted a traffic stop, where they located the accused, and as a result Tim Coderre was arrested and charged with with dangerous operation.

He was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 16, 2021
