Man accused of threatening victim with axe: Police

Sault Police have arrested a 25-year-old on threats charges.

Police say the accused approached a residence in the 100 block of Albert St. E. around 11 a.m. on Sunday, knocked on the door and repeatedly threatened the victim with an axe before entering the home.

Police say the accused then experienced a medical event and lost consciousness.

The victim called police and the accused was taken to hospital, where he was later arrested.

As a result Jordan Myron  is charged with assault with a weapon, uttering threats and being unlawfully in a dwelling.

He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 9.
