Man accused of posting threats against police, court workers to social media

A 46-year-old man is charged with uttering threats online directed at Sault Ste. Marie Police officers and staff at the local courthouse, according to a news release.

On June 6 detectives received a report of someone writing threatening posts on a social media platform. Further investigation revealed the identity of the suspect as the accused and a warrant was obtained for their arrest, the release added.

Jeffrey MacDonald was charged June 11 by detectives with Investigation Services.
