Sault Ste. Marie Police have arrested a man after he allegedly assaulted someone with a hammer, they said in a press release issued today.
Police say they responded to a call on Wednesday after the accused allegedly went to the house of someone he knew in the 0-100 block of Blucher Street, assaulted them with a hammer and threatened them.
He was located yesterday, and as a result, Devon Floyd, 32, was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 8, 2021.
