Sault Ste. Marie Police Service charged and arrested a 19-year-old after they were allegedly seen carrying a weapon in their waistband.
The officers responded to the incident on Oct. 30 around 3:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, they located the person matching the description and arrested them.
The investigation revealed the accused was in possession of a knife and a pellet gun, which resembled a handgun.
As a result, Alex Megginson, 19, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
Megginson was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
