Drew Williamson, who experienced a medical emergency in 2015, recently had a chance to again thank the Sault Police officers who helped save his life.

Williamson was at a Soo Greyhounds game when he needed medical assistance.

Sgt. Steve Potter, Const. Luigi Runco and a member of the community “sprang into action and immediately performed CPR and used a defibrillator” to save his life, the Sault Police Service said in a Facebook post on Monday.

Last week, Williamson visited the Sault Police station to express his ongoing gratitude to those who helped save his life.

“Drew, we truly appreciate your support and wish you continued good health!” the Facebook post said.
