A 34-year-old driver has been charged after a traffic stop early Monday morning.
At approximately 1:30 a.m., officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service's Patrol Services unit stopped a vehicle on Henrietta Avenue.
Police say that the officers approached the vehicle, spoke with the driver, and believed their ability to drive was impaired by alcohol.
Officers attempted to have the driver provide breath samples, but say the driver refused.
As a result, Samantha Pietarinen has been charged with refusing to comply with a demand.
