Leach accused of cleaning out a property on Paladin Avenue

A 55-year-old man has been charged with breaking into a home and shed on Paladin Avenue and stealing several items.

Sault Police were called to the neighbourhood at around 6:40 p.m. on July 25. 

The victim knew the suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Two days later, on July 27, officers located the suspect in the 100 block of St. George’s Avenue East.

Curtis Leach is charged with break and enter and theft under $5,000.

He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled back in court on Oct. 7, 2024.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and Leach is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
