On Apr. 18, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 41-year-old male in relation to a domestic violence incident.

It is alleged that in March and April of this year, the accused was observed repeatedly driving around the residence of his ex-girlfriend as well as watching the residence of his ex-girlfriend while parked down the street in a vehicle. 

The accused is also alleged to have been parked outside of the victim’s workplace watching her on multiple occasions.

It is further alleged that in March of this year, the accused flew a drone over the residence of the victim and approached her on the street to speak with her after he was warned not to have any communication with her.

The accused was arrested and charged with 2 counts of criminal harassment. He will appear in bail court today.
