The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has identified 30-year-old Jonathon Greaves from Ajax, Ont. as the suspect in shooting incident that occurred on Grace Street on Sept. 30.
Police say the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should call 911 immediately.
An arrest warrant has been issued and Greaves is currently wanted for assault and firearms offences.

As a result of the ongoing investigation into a shooting incident that took place on Sept. 30, 2022 in the 0-100 block of Grace Street, detectives have identified 30-year-old Jonathon Greaves from Ajax, Ont. as a suspect in this incident.
A warrant has been requested and issued for the arrest of Jonathon Greaves for:
• Assault with a weapon
• Aggravated assault
• Possession of a loaded firearm
• Possession firearm or weapon contrary to prohibition order x6
The firearm related to the shooting incident has not been recovered and the wanted person should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see them, or know their whereabouts, DO NOT approach, call 911 immediately.
As a result of the investigation, detectives believe the victim and the suspect are known to each other, and this is an isolated incident.
