A resident of Goulais Avenue phoned 911 yesterday after discovering an intruder inside their home.

Police say the victim returned home at around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon and found “an unknown person inside their residence” in the 100 block of Goulais Avenue.

When officers arrived, they “found the suspect waiting outside with the victim,” according to a news release.

Kimberly Watson, 51, was arrested and charged with one count of break and enter.

She was released on an undertaking and is scheduled back in court on Dec. 11, 2023.

The allegation has not been tested in court and Watson is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
