No charges laid after gas station crash

The front of the store is now boarded up, but it is open

No charges have been laid after a vehicle smashed through the front window of the convenience store at the Shell station at McNabb and Pine Streets on Oct. 24. 

"The 82-year-old driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital for precautionary reasons. Nobody inside the business was injured. No charges have been laid," wrote Lincoln Louttit, Sault Police spokesperson in an email to SooToday.

Police, fire services and EMS attended the scene at around 11 a.m. Oct. 24.

No injuries were reported. The store was closed that day and the gas pumps were unavailable to customers.
