On the 19 September 2014 City Police detectives noticed a man in a vehicle that was wanted on an outstanding charge of break and enter. With the assistance of patrol officers the vehicle was stopped and Charles Joseph Carricato (age 39) was arrested.

On the 19 September 2014 City Police detectives noticed a man in a vehicle that was wanted on an outstanding charge of break and enter. With the assistance of patrol officers the vehicle was stopped and Charles Joseph Carricato (age 39) was arrested. The incident stems from a break in to a storage unit on the 13 September 2014. A substantial amount of property was stolen from one of the units. Carricato will be appearing in bail court on 22 September 2014 at 10:00 AM

On the 18th of September, 2014 at approximately 5:11 p.m., Patrol Services arrested two persons for shoplifting at the Canadian Tire Store. Charged with Theft under $5,000 is Cindy MORISSETTE, 35 years old of Irwin Island Road, Goulais River, Ontario and Adrianna RICE, 21 years old of Routledge Avenue, Sault Ste. Marie. Taken were fishing items value $1,045.31. Both accused person will in court on October 27, 2014.

On the 18th of September, 2014 at approximately 10:34 p.m., officers from Patrol Services investigated a threatening complaint that two males known to the victim were going to cause bodily harm to him. Charged with threatening to cause bodily harm are two males, 25 years old and 22 years old. They will appear in court on October 20, 2014.
