MISSING SAULT TEENAGER
City police detectives are currently looking for a 15-year-old female who has been reported missing from her home. Chelsea Anne Mills of 73 Carmeron Avenue was last scene on September 18th at approximately 5:00 pm.
She is described as a white female, 5’ 4” tall, 125 lbs, with light coloured hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a hooded navy blue sweatshirt and white and blue running shoes.

RASH OF YOUTH ASSAULTS
On or about the 16th or 17th of September 2003 at a local High School the accused, a 14-year-old young person, threatened to cause bodily harm to another student. Further, on the 18th of September, the young person assaulted the other student by elbowing her. On the 18th of September at 9:36 am detectives arrested and charged the youth with Threatening and Assault. The youth will appear in court in late October.
Yesterday at 7:00 pm at a home on the west side of the city, the accused, a 13-year-old youth assaulted another youth by pushing, then punching the victim with a closed fist on the left side of the head. The victim received minor injuries. At 10:08 pm patrol officers arrested and charged the youth with Assault. The accused will appear in court in late October.
Yesterday at approx. 3:45 pm the accused, a 12-year-old young person, while at a park in the city’s west end, punched the victim, another young person, in the arm two times. The accused then kicked the victim in the right shin causing bruising. At 10:25 pm patrol officers arrested and charged the young person with Assault. The accused will appear in court in late October.
YOUTH CHARGES AVOIDED
Yesterday, the accused, a 14-year-old young person was in possession of a compact disc that belonged to one of the accused’s neighbours. At approximately 11:00 pm patrol officers were called to the neighbourhood and in lieu of formal charges an agreement was arranged where the accused would rake the victim’s yard.
ACCIDENT SENDS TWO TO HOSPITAL
At 1:30 pm patrol officers were called to a two-car collision in the 700 block of Queen Street East. Paul Tessier, age 39 of 672 Korah Road was driving his 1991 Toyota west on Queen Street when he rear-ended a car that had slowed down in front of him.
The vehicle that was rear-ended, a 2001 GMC Jimmy was being driven by Linda Sorensen, age 55 of 141 Tancred Street. Sorensen and a passenger in the Tessier vehicle, William McPhee, age 31 of 54 Adrian Drive were taken to hospital by ambulance and treated for minor injures.
Both vehicles received moderate damage. Tessier was charged with Following too Closely under the Highway Traffic Act.
