ARRESTED FOR DISCHARGING RIFLE
Yesterday afternoon, patrol officers completed an investigation from Oct 16th when, at 3:30 pm, Michael Scholz, age 21 of 363 River Rd. was allegedly in the garage of another residence on River Rd., when the .22 calibre rifle he was handling discharged.

The round went through the garage wall and into the residence. Two occupants in the home were not injured. Yesterday, officers arrested and charged Scholz with careless use of a firearm. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec 23rd.


DRUG BUST
Yesterday at 3:05pm, officers from the Joint Forces Drug Unit executed a search warrant on a residence in the 1200 block of Wellington St. East. Officers seized various items and paraphernalia related to trafficking in narcotics. They seized a small quantity of Codeine pills and 12-gauge ammunition that was not secured.

During the execution of the search warrant, the resident came home and was arrested. Officers located 20 grams of cannabis resin on his person along with a
