DRUG BUST
City police charged Allan Peter Steinfort, age 37, and Elli Marie Toristo, age 30, both of 81 Letcher Street for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance.

Police executed a search warrant at that residence and located a quantity of Cannabis resin. Mr. Steinfort was also charged with a Breach of Recognizance and is to appear in bail court to day at 1:30 p.m. Toristo is to appear in court on December 16 at 9:00 a.m.


MAJOR FRAUD CHARGE
Christine Jeanned-Arcmarie Small Piece has been charged with fraud over $5,000. Over the period of January 1 to July 31, 2002, Christine Small Piece, it is alleged, defrauded a local business of over $140,000. She is to appear in court December 16 at 9:00 a.m.


IMPAIRED CHARGE FOLLOWS ACCIDENT
A motor vehicle accident resulted in impaired charges being laid against Sharon Louise Pucci.

She was driving a 1996 black Explorer on Pleasant Avenue when she allegedly rear-ended a vehicle in front of her that was turning left
