GIVES SELF UP At 10:30 yesterday morning, Jason Jeffrey Howson, age 19 of Desbarats turned himself over to police officers for allegedly missing a finger print date on the 22nd of April.

At 10:30 yesterday morning, Jason Jeffrey Howson, age 19 of Desbarats turned himself over to police officers for allegedly missing a finger print date on the 22nd of April. It was also determined that Howson had failed to notify city police about a change of address, also a condition of his undertaking. Mr. Howson is scheduled to appear in court on June 7th.

SMASHING SPREE ENDS

28 year-old Timothy Mitchell of 137 East Street was arrested by patrol officers at 10pm last evening for an incident that occurred on the 5th of May. Mitchell is alleged to have damaged a steel door and broke a picture window at two different residences on Albion Street. Mr. Mitchell is now scheduled to appear in court on June 7th.

ASSAULT CHARGE

Paul Henry Boucher, age 57 of 381 Old Garden River Road was charged with assault and will appear in court on June 7th. The accused is alleged to have had an argument with a teenaged girl who is known to him and during the course of the disagreement he slapped the complainant. No injuries are reported.

OUTSTANDING WARRANTS SERVED

Colin Wayne West, age 20 of no fixed address will appear in bail court this morning on charges of failing to appear in court (2 counts) and impersonating. The accused had outstanding arrest warrants for failing to appear in court on January 12th and February 9th of this year. When patrol officers located West at an Atwater Street residence last night he gave a false name to the officers.

B&E ON OLD GARDEN RIVER ROAD

A break and enter was reported yesterday by a resident in the 1400 block of Old Garden River Road. Between 1:45 and 2:30 pm culprits entered the residence and when the homeowner returned he found the front entrance open. Taken from the house was a computer tower.

AMBULANCE TAKES 2 TO HOSPITAL

A motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Albert Street West and Huron Street sent 2 people to hospital and had one driver charged. Antonio Leva, age 40 was traveling east on Albert Street and is alleged to have proceeded through the intersection at Huron Street while going through a red light.

William Swire age 45 was driving his vehicle north on Huron Street when he was struck by the Leva vehicle. Leva has been charged with red light fail to stop under the Highway Traffic Act. 45 year-old Shirley Swire and 27 year-old Kristy Clement were taken to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. The Leva car received a moderate amount of damage while the Swire vehicle received severe damage
