On May 22, 2015 at about 2:00 P.M. City Police Officers responded to a residence in regards to information of a Male breaching the terms of his release documents. A 22 year old male was arrested and charged with Breach of Recognizance and Breach of Probation. He will be appearing in WASH court on May 23, ‘2015
On May 22, 2015 at 11:24 A.M. Police Officers attended at 624 Wellington St. West for a motor vehicle collision. Officers located Annette Denis, age 41 of Franklin Street, the driver of the motor vehicle that had struck another vehicle. The driver was found to be impaired and was subsequently arrested and charged with Impaired Operation and drive with Over 80 Milligrams of alcohol. She will be appearing in court on June 29, 2015.
Break and Enters from the last 24 Hours
On the 21st of May a shed on Central Park Avenue was broken into. 2 gas cans and a heater were taken.
On the 21st of May sometime during the afternoon hours a residence on Wilson Street was broken into. Jewellery and cash were taken.
On May 21, 2015 a female turned herself in at the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service regarding an outstanding warrant. The warrant included 2 counts of breach of probation. Lindsay Ann Watkins age 31 of Elgin Street was arrested and is scheduled to appear in court on June 22, 2015 at 9 a.m.
