BACK IN COURT James Lloyd Laplante, age 39 of 180 Church Street will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested and charged last night at 8:38 pm.
BACK IN COURT

James Lloyd Laplante, age 39 of 180 Church Street will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested and charged last night at 8:38 pm. Laplante, who is prohibited from driving is alleged to have been driving a motor vehicle on Bruce Street and speaking with a woman in the vehicle that he is not to communicate with.

When patrol officers stopped and checked the vehicle they learned that there were outstanding warrants for Laplante. He was wanted for mischief from an incident in September of 2003, failing to attend court on March 19th and 2 counts of breach of an undertaking.

WINDOW FIGHTS BACK

19-year-old Andrew Paul Little of 671 Queen Street West was arrested at 2:20 this morning following an incident at the Canadian Motor Hotel. Mr. Little is alleged to have punched and broke a window at the bar. While at the hospital receiving treatment for a cut arm, Little repeatedly swore and upon being searched Little had in his possession what is believed to be a small amount of cannabis. Mr. Little is scheduled to appear in court on June 21 on the charges of mischief, causing a disturbance, possession of a controlled substance and breach of probation.

B&E ON DOUGLAS

A break and enter was reported to a residence yesterday morning at 7:09 am. The residence in the 500 block of Douglas Street was entered during the night while the resident was home. The resident noticed in the morning that her purse and keys were missing and that there was some articles moved around in the house. The purse contained a small amount of cash.
