Break & Enters
The City Police are investigating two break and enters that occurred in the past 24 hours.
A break-in was reported to the Nenonen Chiropractic Clinic located at 377 McNabb St. Culprits gained entry to the premises by using a prying tool to force open a rear door. A small amount of cash was stolen.
At approx. 4:00 AM this morning City Police responded to an alarm at Clockwork Computer. Upon arrival officers discovered that the front door was forced open. It is unknown at this time what was taken.
Mischief
City Police received one report of mischief yesterday. A residence in the 200 block of Rossmore Rd. had a front window damaged. It appears that the cause of damage may be a BB gun. City Police have had several of these complaints in the past week. Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact the City Police or Crimestoppers.
Returning Stolen Property
Yesterday afternoon, at approx. 12:20 PM, City Police were called to the Station Mall regarding a suspicious male. It is alleged that the accused, Patrick Talbot, attended at Footlocker to return property that was reported stolen the previous day, May 10th. Upon arrival of the police it was further learned that the accused was wanted on several warrants. Patrick Talbot, age 20, of 441 Queen St. W. Apt. 308, is charged with: Possession of Stolen Property, Two counts of Breach of Probation, Fail to Appear for Court, Break and Enter and Possession of Stolen Property. Mr. Talbot will be appearing in Bail Court this morning at 10:00 AM.
Shoplifting
Yesterday afternoon City Police were called to the Station Mall Sears Store in regards to a shoplifter. It is alleged that the accused, Frank Caicco, attended on the second floor of the store hid several items in his pant pockets and then left the store without paying. He was apprehended outside the store by Mall Security and turned over to police. Frank Caicco, age 41, of 633 Cooper St. is charged with Theft Under $ 5,000.00 and will be appearing in court on Monday June12 at 9:00 AM.
