Two Persons Arrested on Outstanding Warrants
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 19 year-old Keegan Day of 511 Hwy 17 East Cutler, Ontario at the police station after he turned himself in on an outstanding probation and parole warrant. He was charged with three counts of breach of probation and is to appear in bail court this morning.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 28 year-old Owen Martin of 600 Gran Street last night at the police station and charged him with one count of fail to appear court. It is alleged that he failed to appear in court on the 14th of February. He is now to appear in court on the 4th of April.

Impaired Driving Arrests
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 35 year-old Karen Leroux of 55 Harris Street at 7:35 pm last night and charged her with one count of consume over the legal limit. It is alleged that around 6:52 pm last night the accused was involved in a rear-end vehicle collision on Goulais Avenue near Third Line West and when officers arrived to investigate the collision they discovered the accused to be under the influence of alcohol. The accused was given the roadside screening device test and registered a fail. She was subsequently arrested and is to appear in court on the 4th of April. No injuries were reported in the collision.

Two Shoplifting Arrests
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 23 year-old Nina Kent of RR#2 Old Mill Road Heyden, Ontario at 4:50 pm yesterday at Zellers in the Station Mall and charged her with one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that she attended at the store and stole some cosmetics. She is to appear in court on the 4th of April.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 31 year-old Marlene St. Germain of 361 Second Avenue at Joe’s No Frills and charged her with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of fail to appear court. It is alleged that on the 3rd of March the accused attended at the grocery store and stole a number of items. Police also discovered that the accused was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court on the 26th of July. She is to appear in court on the 4th of April.
