TRUCK LOSES WHEELS
It could have been a disaster but no one was hurt when a transport truck lost a set of wheels on Black Road last night. Police received the call at 9:47 p.m. The transport was believed to be headed east from the city but was not located by patrol officers. The O.P.P. and the M.T.O. were notified and the investigation is continuing. The tires went into the ditch and struck nothing however there was other traffic on the road at the time.
RAIL YARD BREAK-IN
At 12:30 this morning police were called to the Algoma Central Rail Yard to investigate the break-in to two dining cars. There is no report on anything being taken but the investigation is continuing.
